The CSJ Triangle


  1. Scan through local reports in your city or region and choose 1 news story to analyze.
  2. Using the CSJ Triangle, identify the observable violence presented in the news story based on a radio or TV clip, a newspaper report or an online report from a local news outfit. Identify causations, if possible. 
  3. Using your analysis from that news report, develop further questions to enhance the news report to be able to identify root causes of the issue. . 
  4. Write a new report after executing your questions to the respective sources.
